This is the universal mesh I built for use in my Ziva project HERE. I used Zbrush for the body and face. Texuring XYZ maps used in conjunction with hand sculpting the face HD displacement. Body was rigged in mGear for Maya. The Face was rigged using Blur Studio’s Simplex system. My custom volume system used to preserve detail in areas like elbows and knees for alembic blend back. Textures all hand painted. Lighting and rendering is in Arnold using ACES colorspace.

This is my rig used to retarget mocap, and export ziva bone animation. Built in mGear for Maya.

Additional volume system ‘helper’ joints for better deformations.
